Co-CurricularThe museums, theatres and galleries of London provide a plethora of opportunities for learning and full use is made of the school’s proximity to this ‘School of London’. Activity camps in Year 7 and Year 9 enhance pupils’ studies and broaden their experience. An interesting variety of clubs are part of the co-curricular timetable, with Choir, Chess, Drama, Film, Spanish and Debating among the most popular. Senior pupils have the opportunity to be professionally trained as mentors and are available to mentor younger children within the school and in the wider community. Visits to our sister school in Denia, Spain, facilitate the learning of Spanish and enable pupils to better appreciate the Spanish culture. Year 11 pupils have the chance to attend the annual Christian leadership development conference in Budapest, Hungary. Senior pupils enjoy participating in the popular and character-building Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. |
