Physical EducationA varied, balanced and challenging programme of Physical Education is undertaken, which includes basketball, football, girls’ netball, cricket, athletics, fitness, cross country running, tennis and swimming. Pupils who study Physical Education GCSE can choose to be assessed on sports as varied as table-tennis, dance, trampolining and even skiing. The Cross Country Competition, Swimming Gala and Sports Day are popular events in the annual school calendar. Our most talented players regularly represent the school in matches against other local schools and in wider borough and London-wide competitions. From time to time on activity camps and trips, pupils have the chance to sample less mainstream sports such as canoeing, sailing, climbing, abseiling and bowling. |
