The school’s well-equipped science laboratory is where our pupils begin to develop a passion for investigating the world around them. The Sciences encompass Biology, Chemistry and Physics with specialist teachers for each discipline. The emphasis in lessons is discovery and fun, with scientific protocol and relevant technology underpinning all learning. Pupils are encouraged to think for themselves and use observation, deduction and the testing of theories to help them analyse what they encounter.
Kate's Story
Kate achieved A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as in Maths, Art, Religious Studies, English Literature and Spanish and As in English and Business Studies. She also achieved grade A in AS level Polish. Her results are over two grades higher than national test predictions. Kate is taking A level sciences at Tiffin Girls' School, Kingston, a highly selective girls' grammar school. She wants to study medicine and become a plastic surgeon.
