We make sure that pupils develop the essential thinking skills to empower them to achieve academically, be successful in their future careers and negotiate the complexities and challenges of living in the 21st Century. That is why we use open ended questions whose answers require higher order thinking skills, problem solving activities, lateral thinking challenges and teach explicit thinking strategies and tools such as de Bono’s 6 hats and the Problem Tree. We stimulate and develop pupils’ critical, creative and constructive thinking - and they have great fun too!
